Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vanausadhi.com, the Vanaushadhi mobile applications, and any purchase you make from us (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Vanaushadhi is an Ayurvedic personal-care brand operating from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. Registered company details (legal name, address, GSTIN) are available on request at care@vanausadhi.com.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

3. Use of the Service

You may browse and purchase for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to (a) copy, republish or scrape our photography, copy, product names or trade dress, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer our systems, (c) use the Service in violation of any applicable law, or (d) resell our products without a signed distributor agreement.

4. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as possible. Because our formulas are hand-made in small batches, colour, aroma and texture may vary slightly between batches. Ingredient lists on each product page are authoritative. Product images are illustrative — actual packaging and dieline may evolve.

5. Orders & pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and include GST for orders shipped within India. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, cancel orders in the case of fraud, out-of-stock inventory or manifest error, and to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason. In every such case, you receive a full refund promptly.

6. Payment

We accept UPI, all major credit and debit cards, net banking, Cash on Delivery (for eligible pincodes) and international cards through PCI-DSS certified gateways. You warrant that the payment instrument you use is your own or that you have authority to use it.

7. Shipping, returns & refunds

Our shipping timelines, return window and refund process are detailed on our Shipping & Returns and Refund Policy pages, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — including formulations, product names, logos, photography, copy, illustrations and code — is the property of Vanaushadhi or its licensors, protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark and database rights. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

9. User-generated content

Reviews, comments and any content you post grant Vanaushadhi a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display and reproduce that content in connection with the Service. You warrant that you own or have permission to post the content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

10. Health disclaimer

Our products are cosmetic and personal-care preparations. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. If you have a known allergy, are pregnant or nursing, or have a specific medical concern, please patch-test and consult a qualified medical practitioner before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

11. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party sites (e.g. shipping trackers, social media). We are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vanaushadhi's aggregate liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Vanaushadhi harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity or repeated chargebacks. You may close your account at any time by writing to care@vanausadhi.com.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect 15 days after they are posted. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
